I am delighted to welcome you to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Xi Sigma Omega Chapter’s website.  Xi Sigma Omega Chapter was established June 11, 1983. We hope that your visit to our site is informative relative to our programs and specific activities designated to serve the Upper Montgomery County, Maryland area.

We are Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service as we partner with various organizations who engage in focusing on issues and finding solutions relating to our target areas: HBCU Support/College Admissions Process, Health and Wellness, Economic Well-Being, The Arts, and Global Impact.

Since 1983, our membership has grown substantially, and we are committed to “serving sisterly” and providing continual service to our constituents and to all mankind.  If you are an Alpha Kappa Alpha member in the Maryland area and you are in search of a chapter, we welcome you to join us.  Please take time to acquaint yourself with our offerings by browsing through our programs and upcoming events.
